Last weekend, I had the opportunity to tour a new model home village at Daybreak here in Utah.
(This post is NOT sponsored in any way...but I do happen to work for the builder whose homes I am going to feature.)
Daybreak is a planned community based on the idea of good, old fashioned neighborhoods. It is know for it's colorful homes and sense of community. And I love the concept that they have of putting model homes in a "village" rather than having them spread out in the different subdivisions for each builder.
On Friday evening, there was a sneak peek of the newest model home village for designers, realtors, bloggers etc. before the village opened to the public the next day. Since I am a bit of a house junkie, I was in my happy place touring through each of the eleven homes.
Two of the homes were built by Ivory Homes, which is the builder that I work for as an interior designer. My design team worked on picking the finishes for each of the houses, and then my friends at House of Jade Interiors decorated each house.
Today, I wanted to share a few photos from the houses. (I have also been sharing these on Instagram...which is a great place to follow me for behind-the-scenes fun.)
This great room was stunning! The navy blue grass cloth wallpaper. The brass and Lucite light fixture, the raspberry sofas. All of it was so gorgeous, it took my breath away.
There were so many things to like about this adorable boys' bedroom, but you all know I love faux animal heads, so let's talk about them first..they were so cute. The wallpaper was perfect, and I loved the detail on the roman shades!
See more beautiful spaces after the break...
