Today I wanted to share a nursery design that I worked on for my client Carrie who is building a new home. I have previously shared the designs I worked on for Carrie's Master Bedroom and Living Room. Her home has been so much fun to work with and she has fabulous taste!
Carrie wanted a nursery that had a very neutral base so that it could easily be switched from a boy look to a girl look should her next baby be a girl. She had all the basic pieces already, a lovely crib, changing table and brown chair and ottoman. So I got to do all the fun stuff!
For this look, I chose to accent a basically neutral palette with navy blue. I also chose pieces with texture to give the neutral palette interest. I feel like this look could easily be accented with pink or lavender to change the whole feeling to a baby girl nursery in a heartbeat.
If you need help with a design dilemma, I'm your gal! Check out my e-design information page here.
Out of respect for my paying clients, I do not share moodboard sources on my blog. Thank you for understanding.

I really like that. I think it is a a good idea to have a neutral base for a baby's room. Nice accents.
Thanks Wendy!! I love the design!! I can't wait to get into the house so I can start putting it together.
