A Restful Master Bedroom~

Happy Monday, Lovelies!!

Today I wanted to share a design I created recently for one of my e-design clients.  Carrie and her family are in the process of having a house built, and (lucky me!!) I get to help them design their new home!

Here are the two moodboards I created for their master suite.

The first is for the bedroom area, and the second for the sitting room area.   I am loving the restful palette of browns, taupes and blues.  Wouldn't it be simply dreamy to curl up in that bed??

I used mismatched bedside tables, sort of a "his and hers" concept which I thought was really fun, and rather than using lamps on each table, I chose to hang sconces.   They're lovely and a bit unexpected.

Carrie wanted to incorporate a desk and a reading area into her bedroom. So in the sitting area, I gave her two chairs; but rather than using a table in the space, I added a writing desk.  It's a great little spot to curl up with a book, or to pull one of the chairs up to the desk and do a little blogging. ;-)

If you would like some decorating help, I'm your gal.  You can check out my e-design services here.

To show respect for my paying clients, I do not share moodboard sources.  Thank you for understanding.

Have a great day~

I love the textures and soft blues with earth tones. Esp the exposed brick. I would love this in my home.

I'm normally not a fan of sunburst mirrors, but the one you've chosen is lovely!

That's the color scheme of my master bedroom. It's also my favorite color scheme in general these days. Love your design boards.

Beautiful room! Just getting to work on my master- seems to be the room I always get to last. If you don't mind me asking, what is your source for the dhurrie rug? Looking for something similar for my bathroom. Thanks.
