I was checking out the latest Ruche lookbook when I happened across this swanky little outfit...
And I thought it would make a fab.u.lous room. I loved the purple-y eggplant-y shades in the outfit and the textures as well. This is how it translated...
The thing I love about using fashion as an inspiration for interior design, is that it forces me to think outside the box. I don't think I would have ever considered an eggplant-colored sofa unless I was using an inspiration photo like the one I was using. And you know what? I love it!! True - a purple sofa is not for the faint of heart. But it certainly creates an unforgettable (and lovely) statement in this room, huh?
