Starting the new year off with a bang~

I needed a change. And what does a girl do when she needs a change? (Besides rearranging her entire living room.) She cuts her hair. Come on. Admit it. You do it too.

And so enters the new haircut. Bangs. Lots of them.

Shirt and Jacket: Target Necklace: Children's Place (no, seriously)

I cut them myself. (Hope my hairdresser isn't reading this.) Just went in the bathroom a couple of days ago and decided to give them a little trim. A little trim led to a little more...and a little more...and well, you get the picture. I like them, but I was nervous what the hubby would say. Men can be a little funny about their wives' hair, you know. But the first thing out of his mouth was "I like your hair."
That was good. But then it got better.

"It makes you look young, though." Like he thought that might not be a good thing.

Scarf and jeans: DownEast Basics

Oh that silly man.

Anything that makes me look young is a good thing.

And so I start of 2011 with a haircut that makes me look young. This year is gonna be good.

Have a great day~

VERY cute! Nice job, especially because you did those yourself! They remind me of Reese Witherspoon's hair and I looove her hair. :)

I love that you did it yourself, you did a fabulous job. Starting the new year with a new do is always a great plan. Time for me to book some time with my hairdresser.

It's going to be fabulous! Love your hair, adore your husband's innocence and the outfit is beautiful!

Is innocence the word? Men are sooo funny aren't they?

You did a great job! I got bangs a few weeks ago too with the hopes of looking a little younger! I love em. Much more easier to manage than what I used to have.

You look cute. And after scanning some of your comments, it looks like hair changing is big on the list of wishes right now! A few days ago I posted on my blog about maybe going super short...I'm still on the fence. Funny, us girls!

This is funny, because I have called for a haircut and then backed out:) Yesterday, I pulled out my scissors to cut my bangs and put them back?? Isn't it funny how our hair defines us???
Thanks for sharing!

oops. deleted that, I'll try again. We are communicating hair vibes and we didn't even know it! Last week I went into the bathroom, took out the scissors and, snip, snip, snip and then... bangs in the front!!! I'm afraid my cowlick makes mine funky, but lady, we are awesome! Hope John is feeling better and you are all well! Call or email anytime!

Your hair looks great, Wendy! The bangs are wonderful with your gorgeous eyes. You DO look young--much too young to have a husband who will need any kind of surgery in 2011. :)

Thank you so much for your comment re: my birthmark post. I really appreciate it! And I'm grateful that I finally learned to be honest about this issue--with myself, with God, and with everyone else.

Every blessing to you!
