Great Day for a Giveaway: Cutting Edge Stencils~

Hello All!

So glad you decided to drop by today...and you're about to be glad too.

Today I want to introduce you to one of my fabulous sponsors...Cutting Edge Stencils.

Cutting Edge Stencils is the brainchild of faux finishers Greg Swisher and Janna Makaeva. It is an offshoot of Spec Fin a NY decorative painting company that Greg started in the mid 80's which specializes in high end residential projects. Janna also ran a decorative arts business before partnering with Greg, and uses her Masters degree in Botany and Zoology to create incredibly accurate stencils of animals and plants. Together their aim is to produce the best stencils available.

Can you believe this amazing fresco was created using stencils? Believe it!

Cutting Edge Stencils can help you create gorgeous rooms, and are easier to use than you might think. But if you're still a little worried, or need a little help, they offer detailed instructions and tips right on their website.

Lovely and Restful!

They create all their stencils on site using a 12 mil clear plastic that they feel is superior to mylar which is the material used most often in the industry. And because they make their own stencils, they can pass on the savings to you.

I'm infatuated with this all-over damask stencil!

So are you ready to try this fabulous process and create some of the amazing walls you can see here? Well, you're in luck! Cutting Edge is offering one lucky reader of the Shabby Nest any single stencil of their choice up to a value of $40. Oh the possibilities!!

Yep! Even full wall murals can be created using stencils!

To enter simply leave a comment on this post. That's it! Contest is open until Friday, July 23 at 11:59 pm MST.

Good luck!!

Neat!

Christine said...

How cool are they? Endless possibilites...

homesweetprogress said...

I visited the stencil site and they really are neat. If I were to win (fingers crossed) I'd probably use some stencils to decorate the ceiling above my diningroom area to differentiate it from the kitchen. We are in the process of remodeling at this very moment. We just finished painting the ceiling with Benjamin Moore ceiling paint which is amazing!!! It concealed a ton of flaws. Even my husband was really amazed. I could see maybe stenciling something around the chandelier. I'd also love to stencil the ceiling in my tiny "foyer" which is dark and has very little character at the moment.

Thanks for the chance to enter the contest. This my first time to ever enter a free give away. Love your blog design. Very soothing colors. Intend to read some posts now....Tootles, Michele

I haven't used stencils in a long time, the techniques are much more natural than they used to be. Just beautiful! I might have to add that to my to-do list! It's time for a change....

I have drooled over their stencils for the last two years, ever since I saw an ad in IDAL. I have so many wonderful ideas of things I could do with so many of the designs. They are fabulous!! Unfortunately, the stupid economy has put a damper on my stencil purchases. I am trying to sell one of the designs to a client right now, but she too, is waiting for some better economic news! Great stencils!!!!
