I love displaying things in pretty jars. I have an old canning jar with seashells in my bathroom and it's one of my favorite things.
I've always been a sucker for buttons in jars- so is my mom - and anytime I see costume jewelry for sale in big jars at goodwill, I always stop and look, although rarely buy.
Happy Birthday! I love your blog. As a budding blogger and full-time nester, it is very inspiring. Today I bought the best thing at Pier One - glass canisters with little chalk board rectangles on the front. Who knew jars could make me so happy? Now I'm plotting what to do with my current glass canisters. . . shells, buttons, dominos. . .
Oh, what a neat post! And I was so surprised to see the shells! Thank you for featuring them! :)
