Still Life~

Beauty amid the chaos.

The Hubby and I spent all day again yesterday painting. Grandma had the two little boys, and Mr. One and the Princess are still in school until next week, so we were able to make some good headway. We piled most the accessories and pictures from the living room on the kitchen table, and as I was walking by, I noticed how pretty they looked just sitting there...so I snapped a few photos for my dear readers!

Guess I am in a "glass is half full" mood today.
Have a great Wednesday~

I don't envy you for the work that goes into moving! Keep working for the reward will be great!

Sometimes when we throw everything together randomly it looks so wonderful, your vignettes are so pretty. Good luck with the painting, xv.

You're right, these all made lovely photos. It's funny you should say something about the glass being half full...my Sara and I watched Pollyanna while crafting together today. : )

My piles of stuff never look like that...and to the poster who wrote about Pollyanna - love it. It was my movie of choice while in labor with baby girl #1. And I was very happy to finally get her out via c-section! glass half full indeed!

These are wonderful. Glass-half-full is a very good way to be when you're working on getting your house ready to sell.

I will give you one little bit of advice (you didn't ask for it, but I'll give it anyway) ;). You don't need to do a lot of staging to your home. Your home is beautiful. I've sold three houses (all very quickly) without "special" staging--just by making necessary repairs, doing touch-up painting, and cleaning things up really well. I think that's all you really need to do, because your house already looks great. You really don't have to remove the personal touches, I don't think. When your house looks as good as yours does, buyers are thrilled to think of themselves there.

Okay, that's my advice. Now here's my wish for you: All the best! Every blessing.
