Inspire-Me Tuesday~

Okay, so I promised you all home staging...and I will deliver. But the Hubby and I spent all day yesterday painting, and the house was a mess...sooooooooo not staged to sell! Instead, I've got an inspiring New York farmhouse to share with you all care of Country Living.

Look at that porch! And those french doors! 'Nuff said.

Charming bedroom with beadboard walls. mmmmmm yummy.

Lovin' this chippy old hutch. And the touches of blue are so pretty.

Hands down my favorite image from this house. Check out the built in hutch. Be still my heart!

Cute country kitchen. More beadboard! And see that cute little school chair... That would look great with a number on it, no?

All photos from Country Living

I'm a sucker for a drop-leaf table. Love this...the tone on tone cream is "to die for"!
Hope this little tour inspired you all just like it inspired me~

I think we come from the same mold. I am a sucker for all of those things too. (Especially the cream on cream.) I just feel like digging up to my elbows in moms old ivory shell buttons like we used to. sigh......

Country Living usually has the best decorating and photos. And you chose some awesome images. This farm house looks so familiar. Much like the Amish homes near Shawano, WI. I couldn't see any electrical lines leading to the house from outside. Anyway, nice photos!

p.s. The tin roof is cool too! The snow just slides off in winter..

I'm sucker for all things white/cream, too. But I'm also a sucker for those wood ceiling beams in the picture with the built in hutch!

Cute house! You just reminded me that I used to have one of those desks when I was little... I'm going to have to ask my mom what happened to it!

Ah, who doesn't love an old farmhouse?? That built-in hutch is gorgeous! I loved the little school desk in the kitchen too. :)

Hope you're recovering from all the painting!

I think there's a little desk like that out in the shed at my grandparents' house. I may have to see if they'll let me bring it home for my daughter. I'd forgotten about it until I saw that picture. I'm definitely inspired!

I loved those pictures...especially the openness on either side of the hutch. Oh I would love a room(s) like that.
