He Loves Me~

Okay, so this post is a little belated...but better late than never.

The hubby was out of town on Mother's Day. And if I'm being honest, I have to admit, I was a little resentful. As a matter of fact, I was feeling pretty sorry for myself. Home alone with my four kiddos on Mother's Day...
Then there was a knock at the door and a delivery man with these...

Okay, I guess I can forgive him ;-) Yep, that hubby of mine, he's a keeper!

And I am happy to announce that the Shabby Nest is now accepting sponsors. I only have a few available spaces left... but, if you have a web-based shop you'd like to promote here at my l'il ole blog, contact me for rates and information.

Have a great Wednesday~

Way to score, hubby!!! My husband once sent me flowers while he was out of town because I was sad about something...that earned him TONS of brownie points. : )

P.S.,
I just scrolled down to read your tender story about the 3% pillow. Two days ago I was told a most remarkable story. A woman my Sister-in-law knows was told to take a spoonful of molasses everyday for infertility. She had been trying for years, however, was expecting a baby only 4 months after taking this advice.
I trust your wisdom completely as to whether or not this story would be appropriate to share in this situation. : )

your husband is very nice. He's nice to strangers, he's nice to people at church, he;s just a really NICE guy.

I can relate to that resentful feeling. I'm sure those beautiful flowers made your day. They certainly would've made mine.

Congrats on the sponsors!

Ahhh...What pretty flowers he sent you! I got to make breakfast for everybody that morning....I told my husband in no uncertain terms that we would be going OUT to dinner. He kept saying that he could cook a meal for us...Which ALWAYS means me having to clean up after him (with three times as many dishes as I'd normally use when doing my own cooking!). It did however turn into a nice day. :)

Good Job, Hubby!

My husbands birthday was on Mother's Day and I felt a little tug back and forth throughout the day....

Sooooo pretty! My husband had the nerve to ask me if he could play tennis with his brother after church on Mother's Day. The look I gave him said it all....
