Sigh~

Little Mr. Three managed to pull my camera bag off its perch (which I thought was out of reach). It crashed to the ground, and despite the bag's padding, my LCD screen is broken. I could cry. Let's be honest, I did cry. Here's hoping they can repair it so I don't have to purchase a new camera. (That's not exactly in the budget right now.)
So if you don't see any new photos for a while, you'll know why. I guess it's just one of those weeks, huh?
Happier posts for the rest of the week...I promise~

Wendy, so sorry that happened! I hope it will be fixable. My lil bug got a hold of my camera one day and messed up the shutter. My heart goes to you. Sending a hug and good thoughts your way!

I dropped our new camera on Christmas and shattered the screen too. My hubby ordered a new screen and broke it while trying to install it. So, he bought another camera. I
am so sorry this happened to you!

Oh no Wendy! I have to tell you - we are always on the same wavelength by the way... my almost 2 year old just learned to get on the barstools up to the counter where I keep all the untouchables... including a new {to me} Rebel my bro gave me with a brand new zoom lens and I visualized it dropping and smashing on the floor so I quickly removed it and sure enough... she crawled ON TOP of the counter right where it was and it would have been gone. I am so sorry for you... please let us know if you are able to have it repaired!

Just pretend you're me: That beautiful camera is a point and shoot digital which hubby says can take incredible shots but under your finger only produces images that are tainted with french fry grease fingerprints on the lens and a lighting quality that can only be reproduced by your 3 year old.... eat some chocolate... dream of the day when you can take your own shots again with a fancy big girl cam and go upload your images from other sites (with proper credit of course!).

I'll cross my fingers your camera is repaired for free by a kind hearted camera fairy and that in the mean time you'll be visited with an inspired crafty idea of how to safely stow your camera in a place fit for a king on a paupers budget and free of the cherubic cunning of highly intelligent and MOTIVATED children!

I can sympathize with you. My baby is off in the repair shop as I type. My LCD screen all of a sudden went white with lines. It's still under warranty so I'm hoping they'll fix her up and get her back to me really fast - we've got vacation coming up in May.
Hope you don't have to wait too long.

So sorry!! Not good, not good at all. Why do little ones always gravitate toward the most expensive/treasured items? It's part of their genetic makeup, I think. Sigh, indeed.

I love your blog and read it every day! I have 2 questions....what did you decided to do with that fabulous shower curtain...and where in the world did your friend find it??? I fell in love with it when I saw it on your blog!!!

Wishing you happiness, love, and peace!

Hi Laura:

I have a project in mind for the shower curtain. It isn't finished yet, and once it is, I can only hope I have a camera to take a picture of it. sigh. (But keep reading...it will show up soon, I promise.) As for where I got it...it's a long story. The shower curtain is from Target but they've been sold out for a while. A lot of us girls in blogland wanted one, and I was lucky enough to have a bloggy friend who sent me one when she heard that I couldn't find one in the stores.

Girl...that's a GOOD friend! =D I love a challenge, I think I'll make it a mission to find one. Then I have an excuse to repaint our bathroom....to match the curtain!

Have a great day, Wendy!

My camera is a pretty basic model, doesn't take great pictures, but I would be upset too if that happened. Hoping it gets fixed, and affordably :)
