Mirrors are a wonderful way to bring light and the illusion of space to a room.
Don't feel like you have to hang all your mirrors on the wall. Mirrors look great simply propped against the wall as well. A large mirror adds substance to an otherwise small piece of furniture.
Just make sure that the mirror reflects something pleasant. For instance, I snapped a pic of my favorite mirror below because I loved the "still life" effect of it framing my entertainment armoire. (Don't look too closely...the mirror needed dusting.)
Mirrors don't have to be expensive to add a lot of personality. I purchased the mirror below but it could be made very inexpensively by simply gluing small tin tiles to a prepurchase frameless mirror.
Now go round up your mirrors and lighten up your space!
Have a great Wednesday~

what a great tip! LOVE it! (and LOVE your mirrors!!!) And I see your FAB laundry room in the last one! love it.
Love the black mirror with the cream/white vase near it. Very clean lines and simple. I love that!
Thanks for sharing. I am new to the blog world, stop by and check me out.
Ohh now I just have to have a mirror somewhere in my house. Just walking through the different rooms trying to find THE place to put one. Thanks for the inspiration.
All the mirrors look great, but I can see why that second one is your favorite. It's FANTASTIC! Love that frame around it too!
Such a great tip, Wendy, thanks for sharing your beautiful mirrors with us!
Good tips...love your pictures today...the white mirror is too cute! :)

This is definitely one thing I do not have enough of. In fact, I only have mirrors in the bathroom, which is crazy! :) I love them and need to bring more into the main spaces of our house.
I agree. I love mirrors, and I use them a lot! Yours are beautiful!
Mirrors are great and I LOVE yours!
ohhh great pictures! I love mirrors. Unfortunately I like the nice expensive ones I can't afford! Thankfully we got one for our wedding from pottery barn, and got a HUGE one from Ikea recently. Look! Thanks for posting!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE mirrors - can't get enough of them and they are always one of the "fix-its" to decor problems, at least in my book.
from someone who has a small home to decorate... mirrors are great! they have helped to make our home 'look' bigger and more open. plus, they are a great alternative to artwork.
Great photos! I love everything you posted. I'm a complete mirror hog. Partially, because I think they're pretty, and partially because I agree that they add so much more light and substance to a room.
P.S. I think I have the same tin mirror in my kitchen. Great minds...:).
No fingerprints, snot prints, or peanut butter on those mirrors. Hey... are those real?
I love the first picture and the fact that there was nothing in the bins underneath. That pretty much would be impossible around here. Every bin is full all the time.
Hey, I think we're for sure making "the pilgramage" back to old stomping grounds this summer in July. Let's meet up somewhere for diet drinks and chocolate!
Who would have thought to add tiles to a mirror? None other than... you! Great post.
I love your mirrors, Wendy! Great tip on having them reflect something pleasant...not a messy kitchen like mine is now!!
Great tips!

I have always loved that last mirror! You really are very clever,...and such a good photographer to boot. :)
They're neat. I want to buy new wall mirrors I found at Ballard Designs.
