Totally laughing right now... I think we hatched from the same coop! I'm a little project happy right now and kitchen, laundry and bath are tops on my list. So funny because I have time for about negative 3 projects this year.

Just posted about my eventual kitchen makeover. I'm still mulling over colors but I've got to paint before May (hits 100+ here) so I'm narrowing things down.

Love the before and after shots! That's the best inspiration. Just shocks confidence in you that you CAN tackle that project! Great post Wendy! and as always, fabulous pictures... I've gotta git me one a dem fancy cameras!

love your projects.

Did you build your surround for the fridge or was it there? We are looking at a house that the fridge just kind of sits with the side of it in a walkway by the back door and I think it needs to look built in. So i am curious about what you did and how you did it. If you built it would love to see pictures of it.

I love ALL OF your projects. I love your style. I don't think I'll ever have a cottagey style dwelling unless I have a secret apt. somewhere, but I can enjoy yours and others in the blogworld! Thanks for all the inspiration!

Okay, I typed a reply earlier to Carla and Iowa Birdie and now it isn't here. Hmmmm. If anyone gets some random comment addressed to either of these people from me...my apologies. Snow-day-scatter-brain-Mom today!

Anyway, Carla...the fridge surround was already here when we moved in, but it was builder grade so we added beadboard and moulding to make it look more custom.

And Iowa Birdie...I think a post about the cabinet painting process would be great! I'm adding it to my list!

I loved all these projects!

All beautiful projects...i especially the boys room! Does it always look so neat and clean? My son was the neat child (he played outdoors all the time, then later sports), my the daughter (played in her room more) the sloppy one, so yes little boys rooms can be clean.
Love all your ideas, so inspiring!
